家庭影院系统是要家庭环境中搭建的一个接近影院效果的可欣赏电影享受音乐的系统。家庭影院系统可让家庭用户在家欣赏环绕影院效果的影碟片、聆听级别音响带来的音乐、并且支持卡拉OK娱乐。一般来说，一套家庭影院需要3个部分：信号源、功放及终端。
